End propaganda

Make it illegal for the Government and the news to knowingly lie to the American public. Half the problems in America today are caused by the mainstream media knowingly lying to the American people to get a story. They do it for ratings and because they are told to the people are sick of it. Also, they take clips of what a person says and makes it sound like they’re saying something different.

The endless propaganda from state media has been detrimental to the US.

MSM outlets knowingly spread lies and intentional untruths in order to sway American minds. They are no longer trusted as unbiased sources of information.

This has to stop!

Hard to end propaganda since it can be covered under freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech excludes yelling fire in a crowded theater as well. KNOWINGLY, is the main word here.

Yes, namely the commercials centered around abortion and amendment 4. The amount of misinformation, legitimate misinformation, and straight up lies is ridiculous. People are being blatantly lied to and deceived with the statements made, and these statements are made as if they are concrete facts and they are not.

I agree with this, however, seeing as the news media takes an oath of truth, they should be required to state that something is opinion and not present it as fact, therefore keeping their freedom of speech right intact.

Get rid of main stream media, OR control the information i.e. not allow lies to be circulated to the public. Time for the brain washing to end

Propaganda is one of the biggest issues. I believe Obama made it legal for MSM to lie to the public. Now why would he do that.

Can you just imagine if they didn’t lie about Trump and covid jab saying it was safe and effective how our world would be so different today.

News organizations should be held accountable for spreading misinformation. If they air false information, they should be required to dedicate twice the airtime to correcting it, during peak hours. A strike system can enforce this, where repeated offenses lead to penalties and even restricted airtime. This approach helps prevent corruption, keeps the public informed, and ensures transparency in media reporting.
