Mainstream media should not be able to lie or deceive the public by not telling the truth. We have seen how they manipulate and twist the truth to coerce the public. That needs to stop!

We have to tread lightly on banning any form of speech including what we do not agree with.
The market of speech is designed to correct itself through lower ratings and thus lost advertising which forces change without government intervention .
The cure for bad speech is more ( good) speech.
Any government involvement should be limited to ensuring the current FCC rules are adhered to and licensing rules and regulations enforced.
Yes, free speech is a constitutional right that I firmly agree with. I was referring to lying and propaganda. I’ll have to do a little research, but I thought there was a law in place once that stopped the press from lying to the public. I want to say Obama administration had something to do with removing that law. But I’ll have to research to be sure.
We need to fire CNN. All they do is lie and try to manipulate the public and unfortunately a lot of people choose to listen to them instead of doing their own research.
