Repeal the National Firearms Act of 1934

With Republican control of Congress we need to repeal the National Firearms Act of 1934. It’s a gross infringement of the Second Amendment. The purchasing of automatic weapons is already banned under the Firearms Owners Protection Act and automatic weapons that could be purchased prior to 1986 are completely unattainable for the average American anyways. All the National Firearms Act of 1934 does is put unnecessary regulations on short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, and suppressors. Most of the regulations prevent cosmetic changes which is pointless and suppressors should be redefined as safety equipment for those involved in the shooting sports, plinking, or firearms training to protect their hearing.
