Repeal the National Firearms Act (NFA)

Repeal the National Firearms Act of 1934.

As the impact of 3D printing technology dawns on America, 3D printing of metal materials will become more common as time goes on, and thus the plethora of possibilities with these machines will be accessible to all Americans. Criminal organizations will not prevented from obtaining NFA items if they can simply print them off in the convenience of one’s home. Therefore, the original purpose of the law becomes obsolete as time goes on and only serves to restrict everyday, non-criminal, American citizens.

There is no reason why a government bureau should be tasked with “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.” This government bureau of the Department of Justice arbitrarily decides policy for American gun owners without the need for legislation to be passed by an elected body, while putting American citizens at risk of hefty punishments for violating said arbitrary rules. This outdated bureau should have been tossed out with Prohibition.

Repeal the National Firearms Act as, “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
