The majority of Illegal aliens are here for one reason. Work! If we cut off their ability to work they will leave and return to their countries of origin. Who remembers in 2009ish when jobs were drying up. Many of the illegals self deported. If we simply fined employers 100k per illegal alien caught working for an employer, it would be too risky to employ an illegal alien. ICE could focus on enforcement of employers , in edition to removing aliens caught in the interior. Employers could lose their licenses, permits etc. Who would hire an illegal alien if they could in turn lose their own livelihood. Cut off the jobs, they go home. This could also be coupled with no local, state, or federal money for food or housing. This would ensure jobseekers who are legally able to work are working.
I say start with a 30-Day Voluntary Exit for Illegal Immigrants. On Trump’s first day in office, announce a federal mandate giving all individuals residing illegally in the U.S. a 30-day window to voluntarily leave the country. They may return legally through a properly regulated process, but after 30 days, those remaining illegally will face immediate arrest and permanent deportation. Deportation efforts will be strengthened with the full use of the U.S. Military and National Guard to ensure thorough enforcement.
In the meantime, implement an immediate suspension on all immigration, including H-1B visas, student visas, and green cards, for a minimum of one year. This temporary halt will allow the U.S. to reevaluate and reform immigration policies to prioritize national security and American worker interests. During this time, a comprehensive overhaul of the immigration system should be undertaken, focusing on:
- Security screenings for all applicants.
- English fluency requirements for visa holders.
- Financial self-sufficiency checks, ensuring that no visa holder is a burden on public assistance programs.
3. Enforcement of Immigration Laws
Enforce strict penalties on those who aid or harbor illegal immigrants. Penalties should escalate with each offense:
- First offense : A $10,000 fine per illegal immigrant assisted.
- Second offense : A $100,000 fine per illegal immigrant assisted.
- Third offense : Full seizure of assets, including property and financial holdings, and a minimum five-year prison sentence for offenders.
Federal authorities must work with state and local governments to implement this mandate across all levels. Housing, employment, transportation, and other forms of aid to illegal immigrants must be criminally prosecuted to deter further violations.
4. Economic Sanctions for Non-Cooperative Countries
Countries refusing to accept the return of their citizens should face immediate and severe economic sanctions. These sanctions would include:
- Suspension of foreign aid until compliance is met.
- Tariffs and trade restrictions aimed at countries that neglect their responsibility to repatriate their citizens.
5. Work Cities for Seasonal Workers
To meet the labor demands of industries such as agriculture, establish Work Cities just outside U.S. borders, in partnership with Canada and Mexico. These cities will allow foreign workers to apply for temporary, limited work visas under strict regulations. Workers can be granted entry only for short-term, seasonal employment, after which they will return to their home countries. These cities will be run jointly with our neighbors, ensuring that all immigration is legal, controlled, and serves both national interests and seasonal labor demands.
6. Immigration Laws and Integration
Overhaul immigration laws to ensure that those who come to the U.S. legally are willing and able to integrate into American society. This includes:
- Strict background checks and security screenings for all legal immigrants.
- Cultural assimilation requirements , ensuring that all legal immigrants embrace American values, ideals, and the English language.
- Regular inspections of work sites, businesses, and residences to identify undocumented individuals. Those found without proper authorization will face immediate deportation, and individuals or companies that house or employ them will face the aforementioned penalties.
7. Criminal Immigrant Deportation
Any illegal immigrant who has committed a crime while in the U.S.—whether it be theft, assault, rape, or murder—must face imprisonment for their crimes, and upon the completion of their sentence, be deported immediately. Build federal jails near or beyond the U.S. borders, ideally adjacent to the Work Cities, to house such criminals before their removal. This system ensures the protection of American citizens while maintaining swift deportation processes for those who violate our laws.
8. Reforms to the H-1B Visa Program
Starting on day one, reform the H-1B visa program to prioritize U.S. workers and reduce abuse by corporations. Stricter regulations must be implemented to ensure that U.S. workers are not displaced, and foreign workers are not exploited:
- Background checks for all H-1B applicants and their immediate families.
- English language proficiency requirements for all H-1B workers.
- Proof of financial independence , ensuring that visa holders and their families can sustain themselves without access to public assistance.
- Job posting requirements , where companies must advertise positions domestically for a specified period before applying for H-1B workers.
Only those H-1B workers who meet these stricter criteria will be allowed to bring immediate family members, who must also undergo background checks.
9. Legal Immigration and Military Service
Require that all legal immigrants contribute to the U.S. by serving 6 to 8 years in the military or other federal/state programs. This requirement ensures that those who wish to be a part of American society are committed to defending its values and freedoms.
They already have 70+ days to self deport. Don’t wait until its forced
