Written in the late 1930s, the National Firearms Act (NFA), you cannot own a black powder firearm that was manufactured after 1898. For example, if a manufacturering company were to make Mauser C96’s (also known as the Broom Handle) from 1896-98 you are legally allowed to own that firearm, if it were made during 1899-1901, you’re required by law to register that firearm under the ATF. Also written in the NFA you cannot cut down a rifle barrel under 16 inches and a shotgun under 18 inches. Furthermore, the 1986 chapter requiring a tax stamp on a suppressor and much other items to your threaded firearm, is an absolute violation of the 2nd Amendment.
My solution is having the Trump team bring a case to the US Supreme Court or Congress make it national law repealing the NFA and stop the already confusing measures that were made in the late 1930s to the modern era from this Act.
