I served in the armed forces and as my family grew, so did expenses. I frequently sought out help with financial advisors provided by the DOD and budgeted. My family and I would barely get by. So much money was being taken out of my income monthly, it didn’t make any sense. I am laying the tax for the United States by putting service before self. I would love to see federal taxes removed from military pay as it would help many service members get ahead.

Those who serve our country deserve far more than they currently receive. You are making the ultimate sacrifice, and that should be recognized with the benefits and support you truly deserve. Your dedication and service should be met with the highest respect and gratitude.

I would personally like to see all income tax stopped, as well as personal property tax. I bought it, I paid sales tax for it, I shouldn’t have to do that again every year.
