Ban Federal Taxes on active duty military

No Federal Taxes on active military soldiers. Our active military are protecting us and willing to die to protect its citizens and our country. Paying federal taxes does not seem right to me as a parent of a soldier. They also pay taxes on bonuses which are in place to retain our soldiers. The Marines is the only branch that has met their numbers in the last two years. We need policies to recruit and maintain our military numbers and great soldiers that put their lives on the line everyday. I believe our military is under payed and this extra money will help with families and retainment. I believe this policy will help with recruitment and moral.

I would like to see your policy go a couple steps further, and we have the money to do this we’ve prove that by giving it away all over the place. I want everybody reading this to know that I did not serve. I do appreciate those who do. I don’t think that federal taxes should be charged to military members whether it’s active duty or not if they’re enlisted they’re enlisted there shouldn’t be federal or state taxes levied against them at all. I would like to service members continue to collect their pay once they separate from the service. If they’re in for 4 years they get 20% of their pay when they leave unless they go into combat if they go into combat or that country where it’s happening at they get 100% of their pay when they leave. If they’re in for 10 years they get 50% of their pay when they leave unless they see combat and it’s 100%. And if they’re in there for 20 years and they get 100% of their pay when they leave and I don’t mean just once I mean every month it’s like they didn’t leave they get paid for the rest of their life because they served.

This should also go for those who are National Guard and Reserve that are activated and those same National Guard and Reserve shouldn’t have to pay state taxes. I agree that protecting our country is extremely important and those who protect it should be paid very well. I mean private security for these politicians is very expensive. So why not pay for our own. I mean when service members pay taxes they’re paying their own pay checks.
