Military Pay

I propose that we end the federal taxation of Military Retirement Pay for our brave men and women who have served bravely and honorably in the defense of our great country. They earned this benefit and sacrificed much to defend our freedoms. They should be allowed to keep 100 percent of their retirement pay. Remember their military pay was not tax free and they also paid social security taxes. Considering that their healthcare is not free and that they also pay premiums, co-pay and I believe also have deductibles I believe giving them a break on taxing their Military Retirement Pay would be another way to show these our Veterans that they are appreciated for all they have done in the defense of we the citizens of our great United States of America.
