As a Marine Corps Veteran of 9 years, I can personally atone to the lack of money enlisted personnel have. Military members are fighting everyday on different battlegrounds for this country and yet most of them can barely afford normal bills and are living paycheck to paycheck. I remember when i was a young enlisted Marine, I could barely afford to even have a 9 year old car. After insurance, a car note and phone bill i was already broke for the month. Its is unfair to our service members that they should have to live like this. I believe no federal taxes on military members would not only help the service members save and budget their money more easily but also help with recruiting and retention numbers for the military.

Agree , but does this also go for higher pay brackets like Generals ?
I think there should be a certain pay rate where it stops, or once a service member reaches 100k a year. I was in for 9 years as a Radar Technician and I was only making 55k before taxes but that was with BAH and BAS because I was married. I got out 3 years ago and Iām still a Radar Technician in the civilian world and I make 123k a year.
