The American military is paying federal tax to essentially pay their own wages. The military should not be taxed federally.
The military community is struggling financially with a lot of them on government assistance to afford food. This needs to be studied more then it has.
Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of need, these members would not be effective enough to focus on the mission while worrying about their family receiving the basic needs such as food.
If we are unable to raise income levels due to budget, then take away federal tax on their wages.
Yeah, it’s pretty absurd. Also, historically, it’s basically suicide for a state to not grant certain privileges to the people risking their life to uphold said state.
I agree that Active military should not pay federal taxes. We have a shortage of soldiers this would be a great incentive for people to join the military.
I think we could also eliminate property taxes to military members as a financial boost to military member’s pay without it coming out of the federal governments pockets with minimum impact to local economies as well.
