Federal Tax Change Proposal

I would like to propose a process that may require a series of bills and a Constitutional Ammendment to overhaul the current Federal Tax policies. The goal of these steps are to get rid of the Federal Income Tax and other taxes on Individuals and tax the States instead. I would propose a flat tax on all State’s Revenue that should not be larger than 10%. (Actual number to be determined by more intelligent people than me). In order to tax the States we need to repeal the 17th Ammendment. Why? Because a founding principle of the United States is no taxation without representation. So the States need to be represented in order for the Federal government to tax the States. After that a Bill or series of Bills is needed to repeal all existing tax laws at the Federal level and replace all of it with a flat tax on the States Revenue. I beleive this has many benefits. The first being that most of your tax money goes to your State which should benefit your communities more then the money going directly to the Federal Government. The second being that it shifts focus back to state politics as opposed to ignoring state politics for Federal politics. Last I believe this kind of policie would greatly cut down on the IRS beaurocracy since you no longer have to monitor billions of people and buisnesses and only have to analyze 50 states.

Federal income taxes are illegal. There is no law requiring citizens to pay them. There are millions of people who do not file or pay federal income taxes. This should be eliminated for everyone.

The 16th Ammendment makes it Legal. So maybe we need to repeal both the 16 and the 17th Ammendment
