Eliminate All Federal Taxes

Eliminate all federal taxes (income, sales, etc.) on corporations and individuals. Instead, only allow the federal government to tax the states. Tax for each state based on agreed-upon formula that accounts for population and gross state product. States will raise funds to pay their tax bill any way they decide (income, sales, property, etc. on corporations and/or individuals). Each corporation’s or individual’s tax burden will be due only to their state government. People and companies will flock to states with the best system, fostering healthy competition among states to keep taxes low.
