It’s pretty commonly known that if the military needs to buy a bolt or a screw, it’s going to cost way more just because it’s for the military, when you can find the same thing at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I still hold that we need to have the world’s best military, but the budget should be spent appropriately. That way additional funds can be filtered into other categories, like infrastructure and education.
