Overhaul Military's Egregious Spending

Need to change the narrative of the public from spending the most on the military compared to any other nation is always a good thing.

So much egregious overspending is preventing our service members from being paid more and receiving better benefits.

One example of egregious overspending:
“Moment Rep. Mike Waltz holds up a $90,000 bag of insulator joints as stumped USAF Secretary admits he has NO IDEA such basic parts cost that much for taxpayers”

Another example of egregious overspending:
“The Pentagon’s $52,000 trash can”

Root cause of the problem: appropriations and the Anti-deficiency Act

The codes are wildly complicated and the Act makes the units spend 100% of their budget every year or get punished with less money the following years.

The braches are directed to buy only certain products, sold at astronomical markups, like the 53K trash can.
