Military members should be compensated Federal Income Tax Free. For all Active, Guard, and Reserve across all branches of service.

I also think Active Duty shouldn’t pay for their initial uniforms and issued gear. If we require them to have it we should carry the cost. At worst this should be modified to where they aren’t paying full retail. Our military has such immense purchasing power, why isn’t there wholesale pricing for soldiers? Dress uniform billed on statement at end of Basic Training - $800, Dress uniform on Amazon $800.

Military uniforms should not be available except through the Military. Too easy for anyone to impersonate any military personnel.
