25% reduction in Federal income tax for each active-duty military deployment

As a civilian who has never served in the military, I hold our current active duty and military veterans in the highest regard.

I propose that after every completed active-duty deployment, the individual’s household Federal Income Tax be reduced by 25%.

If the individual completes more than 1 active-duty deployment the reduction will increase an additional 25% until they’ve completed 4 or more in which they would have 0 Federal Income Tax liability whatsoever.

These brave individuals have sacrificed everything to ensure that our amazing country is able to continue being the beacon of freedom. The least we can do is let them keep the money that they’ve earned after they fought so hard for us.

Why not no taxes? They get little enough pay as it is and filing is a pain in the butt. They have better things to do than expend energy cussing over their tax forms.
