We choose what our tax dollars fund

If we were given, at tax time, a number of areas where our tax dollars will fund, We the People would control where our dollars go and have more stake in the game.

There would have to be standard list, where our tax dollars fund like Military, police, etc… “X %”. BUT if we had an actual say in 40% of our tax dollars, we could give our money to the areas of Government we believe in.

The area of government that doesn’t get money, no longer would exist, if they don’t get funded. We get to choose the size of our government, because they would not be able to spend more than what they get. They would have to explain to us why we need them.

We could rein in the out of control government.

I like this idea. Most people I know who take those “loop holes” is because they do NOT like how the government spends their money. If We The People can allocate where our tax dollars go…we may not hesitate to pay. But that can be a very laborious process with 334.9 million people. I know not all 334.9 million are working.
