Take income tax away from paychecks

So here is my proposal to replace income tax. Make all the sales tax higher so everyone pays the same rate even the illegals will be paying their way into the system when they work under the table to get money to live. Make it 12% tax on everything under 1000 and lower it the higher you go so you don’t kill everyone in taxes the higher you. Like the house percentage maybe 3 or 4 percent to the government. This would make America more money from all money coming in to all households and individuals. Special consideration to veterans and social security recipients. Thoughts and Adjustments welcome.
