Replace income tax with Sales Tax

Stop punishing people for working hard and making more! Either all tax brackets should pay the same percentage, or all goods should have a federal tax besides produce. Maybe 20% tax. Most states already have a tax on all goods besides produce. This would in turn tax the rich more, since they buy more things and more expensive things. It would tax the poor less, since they buy less things and cheaper things. But we would all be paying less taxes. If you make $4000/month, you would no longer be paying $1000 in taxes. Instead, maybe you spend $1500/month on groceries, so you only pay up to $300 in tax. This would also incentivize eating healthier, because produce wouldn’t have tax!
