Switch from Pesticides to Organic Farming -ban pesticides

Pesticides must be banned if they are to be removed. Large factory farms may not all be able to switch to organic farming but the switch to organic must be a 4 year goal of the upcoming Presidency. Switch to organic or go out of business. Govt can subsidize changeover to organic farming. Preservatives must be switched to organic. In NYS, I have to buy Alexander Farms milk from CA to get quality organic milk from pastured dairy cows. Transport from CA to NY for a gallon of milk is a horrendous waste and contribution to greenhouse gases. Food production and vaccine safety are the two most challenging problems and the ones with the greatest benefit for the American people. It will take at least one 4-year term to accomplish in the best of all possible worlds. This is job # one. With food, I include water. Look at the Washington DC based Environmental Working Group’s mapping of carcinogens in all municipal water supplies nationwide. A HEALTHY AMERICA IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARD A SANE, CRIME-FREE, MENTALLY HEALTHY AMERICA AND BOOMING ECONOMY. YOU CAN’T HAVE A GREAT ECONOMY WITH A SICK PEOPLE.

Definitely in favor of REAL organic and regenerative. Regenerative cannot always be organic via a technicality. Overall agree. But I would include regenerative farming.

There are issues with Organic that do need to be addressed since lobbiest where able to do things like slip hydroponics in as organic even though they are grown inside. Following are some policies on the platform that are related.
