Subsidize local regenerative farming

The proper role of our government in our managed capitalist system is to subsidize farming practices that can’t compete with big-ag. Moving subsidies from monoculture crops to local and regional farms, homesteads, and cottage food production will offset the big-ag consolidation that’s occurred since WWII. Properly managed to support regenerative farming practices, subsidies will result in local, nutrient-dense, resilient food production.
Such farms have carbon-negative footprints from their operations, and their reduced fuel for shipping.
