Stop the prohibition of growing and raising animals for food

There was a time In This country that every family was taught to be self sufficient with their food as much as possible. We now live in a time where it is not only frowned upon but restricted or prohibited all together. Every citizen that owns their own property should be able to grow food crops and raise animals if they so choose. (Example: Laws /ordinances at the state and local levels should not get to decide if someone can raise chickens for the nutrition of eggs and/or meat. ) If their property is adequate for the task they should be able to grow food or raise animals anywhere on their own property provided they take care of it.

I agree, but the problem is not everyone is tidy and it would attract an infestation of invasive animals or harmful bacteria. My neighbors had chickens and they were pretty clean about it but it still attracted rats and the neighborhood got infested. It took us a while to rectify the situation.
I agree with the idea of vegetable gardens and I have a small one but would like to be able to extend it to the front yard which in many towns is illegal, so I feel that law should be changed to allow property owners to plant vegetation in their front yards and include native indigenous plantings of flowers to attract the native pollinators back to the area which in turn begins to create a permaculture environment and aids the growth of vegetation.

Respectfully, animals are NOT food. Eating animals is literally the root of all diseases. People need to become educated on this and there are many documentaries available, such as Forks over Knives, Eating You Alive, and The Game Changers - just to name a few. Also, NutritionFacts.org

Respectfully, I have a different viewpoint. If you choose to be vegan or vegetarian, that’s completely valid. However, it’s important to recognize that not everyone will share the same perspective.
