Implementing a tax credit for stay at home mothers would give Americans the opportunity to not only make enough for their families but aid in the future of having more children.
A lot of us don’t want to have children because we cannot afford it.
A tax credit will allow families to afford having children & aid in less stress of financial burdens on solely the fathers shoulders, marriages would thrive on extra income & we would see less divorce rates & more babies being made.
A stay at home mother is not for the weak it’s a full time job & if we wanna create that happy healthy environment like we used to have where the man works and the women stays home then we have to be able to afford it & things need to change in some form.
I like this idea because moms do it all we have all the jobs all of them and at the end of the day when ppl work some get to go home and relax but some still have to be parents and take care of the house children homework and if the kids are sick we gotta do that also plus give the medicines and then try

To sleep so we can do it again the next day
So I fully agree and yes I have worked yrs in the health field but when you have a child at 26 weeks at birth
(Premie) and you have to chose to go to work or stay at home because your baby needs you more at the hospital than work is allowing
You to stay with your baby well yes
I feel there should be a stay at home
Allowance for mothers and fathers full time stay at home and take care of it all and it would get rid of fights with the parents

No money or because the baby is sick we need to call off because there’s no sitter to
Watch the baby when parents go to work
Or whatever the matter may be I think that a plan needs to support Homemakers staying at home because if it wasn’t for us who would oils take care of kids , and anyways you need to pay a sitter anyways so to make it easier and it will stay in the home where you live just pay parents that stay at home all day making the homemaker a living and busting our butts every single day plus there’s no days off for Mothers at all we do it all even when we
Don’t feel like it we still deal with it everyday

I wanna add to those of you who “don’t wanna pay for mothers to stay home” you are more than likely already paying for someone’s childcare with your taxes because most mothers even when working & having a spouse cannot afford child care.
I’ve been a stay at home mom & a working mom & couldn’t afford child care while working so there was no point the cost of child care for 1 child a month is $1200 that’s if you only have 1 child!
The average person makes $2300-$3500 a month.
So please do that math & make it make sense on how it would be possible for even a married couple to make ends meet while both working?
Sick days? Forget about it!
Your kids sick days? Forget about it, can’t miss work because you can’t afford to.
Kids clothing
Diapers
Food
Gas
Basic needs ( toilet paper, shampoo? )
Not to mention oops you get a flat tire then what?
I agree with you as a SAHM. My husband check gets taxed almost $2000 every month. If the govt wouldn’t tax federal so hard, we would be able to afford to live and it wouldn’t come from anyone else. It would be our own money.
If we do end up with taxes being cut on wages that would absolutely help, I just hope people realize they are already paying “ for people to stay home” with foodstamps, government benefits. Take out the illegal immigrants & all the money being shipped to other countries and we would have more than enough to cover a tax cut for moms. We would most likely have millions left over as well, I’d like to think a caveat has to be put in place that a stay at home mom has had to been staying at home for x amount of time before being able to receive a credit that will help in aiding moms who just start doing it for the money instead of them needing to.
