Judge Thomas is under real threat by the Left who want to remove and replace him due to innapproprate acceptance of gifts. It would be better to do it under a Trump admin rather than to wait and hope the Left isn’t successful in the future. A young Trump appointed judge will have positive effects for many years to come.
I don’t think a judge can simply be replaced. After they are elected, they serve until they retire or pass away and would have to be impeached by the Senate before then.

Thomas may decide to retire when Trump becomes President again. Thomas should only be replaced by a conservative minded Constitutional judge. I am not sure Trump knows how to do this as each of the three he appointed last time do not consistently vote with a conservative viewpoint.

I was implying that he could be impeached if he doesn’t want to step down. I wonder how the Democrats would vote when the Republicans are pushing for the impeachment.

Did Thomas commit treason, bribery, or high crimes and misdemeanors, especially compared to any other Supreme Court Justice? You can only impeach a Supreme Court Justice for the items above.
As for the inappropriate acceptance of gifts is not one of the above crimes.
