Repeal all Federal Drug Laws except when drugs cross a border

The federal government has no right to make laws about the drugs people use. These responsibilities fall to the states. In fact, the federal government needed a constitutional amendment in order to ban alcohol. Drug laws are no different.

The war on drugs has been a major tool used to increase the size and scope of the Federal Government and infringe upon our Constitutional rights.

The one area that the Federal Government has jurisdiction when it comes to drugs is if they are transported over a state or national boundary. By repealing all federal drug laws except those involving transporting drugs across state or national boundaries, we could drastically reduce the size of the FBI and possibly other agencies
