For voting, too many people relay on a candidate’s party or their name.
Let’s remove the names of individuals and their party on the voting ballot, and let’s replace it with a section of what the candidate supports. Therefore, in the voting booth, we are voting directly for what we want instead of a party or a person’s name.
Sorry, but I don’t think so. I wouldn’t trust the blurb on the ballot to be accurate; everyone lies during election season. If we have the name we can at least research the candidate.
