Politicians Must Meet Lobbyists Publicly

Politicians should not be able to talk to lobbyist unless it is in a public forum, televised and recorded. Also the talk needs to be able to be viewed live by the constituents and with a 2 week notice as to to who, what, when, where and why? With severe penalties for both parties if not complied with. Also the lobbyist when meeting a politician in any other venue must inform the politician as to being a lobbyist

It is something to build on. It seems the lobbyist run the country or at the very least are considered more than We The People

Perhaps the same should apply to representatives of foreign countries–except on legitimate cases on national security. Maybe then we won’t have a repeat of the current 1st family’s self enrichment campaign.

While probably not realistic and prone to much subversion still a great idea.

I like the idea to have a lobbying public forum or a public convention where that’s the only place lobbyists can meet and negociate with politicians.
