High school should stop at 10th grade. The students should be able to pass a high school equivalency exam at the end of 10th grade. For the next two years, all students should be required to be enrolled into ROTC. And if they are able to pass an exam, they should have the option of either two years of free trade education. Or the first two years of community college education. The latter only if they’re able to pass a standardized college entrance exam. Not all students are cut out for college. Drivers training should be part of our education system across-the-board. And we need to focus on getting our students to where they can pass the high school equivalency exam by the end of 10th grade. By the time an 18-year-old graduates by using public funding, they should be able to drive have an ID and possess basic government knowledge and basic knowledge of our arms forces and the ability to provide for themselves
