This is plain and simple. No State should have propert tax on anyones main place of residence. The Federal Government gives plenty of our tax dollars to the States to fund everything from infrastucture to schools. Your home should be tax free. This not only would help retirees keep their houses but would also boost the economy with the extra spendable personal funds. The idea of anyone losing their house because of taxes is pathetic.
