Make Women Eligible for the Draft

Women on the Left would rather vote for WW3 if it means they can keep murdering their unborn children. Make women have a stake in this country and give them equal rights & RESPONSIBILITIES so that they are no longer, by and large, single issue voters. Making them eligible for the draft is the best way to do this. Maybe a lot of them will actually ponder the geopolitical and spiritual direction of our country at the ballot box from now on. Consequence-free sex should not be the issue that potentially sends millions of men to go to war.

Equal rights, equal fights.

I’m old school on this issue. I still think it should be optional for women. My daughter serves currently with Air Force by her own choice. Keep this optional for women.

Equality shouldn’t see any distinction in race, gender, aptitude, etc

If this were to happen, women should be drafted for non-combat roles only, unless they express the desire to be in a combat role and can pass the same bar as men. There are plenty of tough women out there who could do it. However, on average, most women are inherently not as physically capable as men.

Then just like men, they would be found un-fit to serve. Women have been screaming for equality. Well ladies, ruck up!

If this were to happen, I think women would have to pass extreme tests to determine they are eligible. Not to mention, there has to be protection and designated areas for women with the forces then. The reality is, men can be animals. Women are not safe around groups of men, especially in deserted unmonitored areas. I think non combat roles only would be best.

Draft should be removed for both Woman and Man. Those who are not ready to serve or not ready to kill will have PTSD or other dramas that comes with it. And may not have the right physics to endure when combat requires. Sending them to the front line is no different than killing them or hindering other trained soldiers. President Trump said in one of his interview, an elite soldier get the job done much faster and more efficient than untrained.

The better option is to mandate them to join the Military for at least 2-4yrs if they do not enter College right after Highschool! This will give them a better future than to wander around aimlessly and have a trained physical body as a foundation. Which offers all the physical training and other fields that they can learn from in helping our country.

Women being drafted is quickly becoming the new “shiny thing” issue intended to divide; I am going to try to identify the issues and potential solutions.

First, I think we must recognize a distinct difference between fundamental equality and equality as a buzzword.

Fundamental equality is equal rights meaning, we can all vote, we can’t be owned as slaves, we can all own guns - fundamental equality is our inalienable rights that we are born with.

Equality as a buzzword is the slippery slope where men are women, women are men, etc.

Far too often the traditional republican men also buy into “equality” the buzzword and contribute to turning “equality” into something beyond fundamental equality. Such as, women should go to war since they want to be equal to men. In that same token, I think we all, generally, agree women are not physically the same as men.

We can’t say women are not as strong, not natural leaders, not (insert here)…. But yet force women in life or death positions that require these traits.

I am a woman and I wholeheartedly believe women have strengths and those strengths are generally different than men’s strengths - and that is okay! And it is okay that men have strengths that, in general, are different than womens’ - such as being stronger, tougher, natural leaders, etc.

But we are actually rallying for the broke liberal feminist ideology that women are “equal” when it comes to non-fundamental equality.

In reality, women in combat war actually hinders men in combat war because women, generally speaking, are not physically, mentally, or emotionally the same as men. We all know this and it is okay.

Do we really want our male soldiers in combat alongside women who were forced to be there? Do we really think it’s a good idea to have a woman, who was forced to a combat zone, to have a gun behind a male soldier charged with protecting and covering for him? Do we really believe that a true conservative, traditional, honorable male soldier will perform his best in combat when he is strapped with the additional unique burden of having to look after the scared forced woman with a gun next to him (as opposed to looking after a physically in-kind, volunteered male soldier counterpart)?

If for no other reason, our male soldiers deserve better than that.

Outside of this mentality being a veiled argument for the broken feminist ideology most claim to hate, this is just simply bad military combat strategy.

The real solution is resolving endless war in the first place and generating a sense of nationalism that inspires voluntary military service and eliminates the need to draft anyone at all.

Also, increase the pay and benefits for American soldiers; they should not struggle to make ends meet. This will also encourage others to join. It is okay for performance based incentives to drive quality service and allow those delivering top quartile a lucrative income.

The physical standards for combat soldiers should be the same as well- no differences of physical standards based on gender/sex. This protects the unit and ensures top quartile performance, because the result of poor performance is the loss of American life. The individual soldiers deserve the assurance that everyone is capable of achieving the necessary physical requirements of combat.

Please you are forgetting that there are many female republicans, who do not want this. Not all women are liberals, punishing all women for your anger towards liberals is evil. We do not want abortions and do not want to be drafted. Women in the military already face high rates of sexual crimes against them. Do not do this. We do not want this. I am a republican voting for trump to protect women, from illegal immigration, sex trafficking and going WWIII. Get off of the internet rage bait, talk to real women especially those in red states! Every woman I know and have spoken too of for trump. Even if they weren’t, strong men must protect women, even when they are unfortunately manipulated.

BTW I proposed this policy as more of a wake up call to women. I do not seriously think drafting women into the military for combat roles is a good idea. However, I am also trying to highlight that there is a distinct difference in risk behind the votes of Men and Women. Yes, we all have the right to vote, but the stakes are vastly different. I am not sure how to fix this issue aside from increasing the stakes of women’s vote as well. If you have a real solution to this imbalance I am all ears.

It is not internet rage bait at all. 40% of pro-choice women are single issue voters. That means, their candidate of choice could support a number of insane policies as long as they can keep getting abortions. Record Share of U.S. Electorate Is Pro-Choice and Voting on It

All I am pointing out is that a significant percentage of the electorate has chosen that their number 1 priority is ensuring they can kill their kids. Nobody can tell me that I shouldn’t be angry about this, I might have to sacrifice myself in war for this mentality. And why should I? If women want Men to willingly protect them, they should endeavor to make respectable choices.

I would much rather restrict the vote to those who are or were eligible for the draft. Our military is already forced to lower standards for political points, we do not want to see a draft of women…

This is already in the Senate version of the FY25 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We’ll see what happens when the senate and house reconcile their versions of the bill.

I’m not for it, but seems like things are headed that direction.

Also, interesting thing to note is that currently selective service applies to all males in the country, 18-25, whether they are here legally or not.

Those who choose to do a tech school ie HVAC, is essentially college. What for then?

How exactly is this supposed to work for a traditional woman seeking marriage, pregnancy, and breastfeeding? Why should she now be worried about whether or not she will get drafted away from her family and baby that needs her for breastmilk?

YES! No one’s child should have to serve the greedy war machine unless they volunteer to do so. The draft should be abolished until we know that wars that humanity is being drafted into is strictly to protect americans, not stand on the throat of those that we seek to control and benefit from.

I understand the argument for making women eligible for the draft, but I’m not convinced that addressing this aspect alone will solve the underlying issues. It seems more like a temporary fix than a long-term solution. Instead of just focusing on eligibility, we should be prioritizing education and fostering a sense of responsibility and conscience among all voters. This isn’t just a women’s issue; men are involved in procreation too, and their choices also play a significant role in this conversation. We need to address the broader context of responsibility and decision-making that affects everyone.

I did say if they did not enter college or not knowing what to do!

I’d include this in the initial post. I don’t think trying to scare people into waking up is effective; in fact, it can be more harmful than helpful. It’s a tactic that often lacks clarity in what it’s truly trying to communicate. People need to become aware on their own, and that kind of consciousness doesn’t come from being pushed or forced into something.

Most people spend the first 18 years of their lives being told what to do and how to do it, which stifles independent thought and discourages critical thinking. As John Taylor Gatto explores in Dumbing Us Down, the current education system prioritizes compliance over curiosity. Combined with the effects of processed foods on brain health, this conditioning leaves many people in a state where they’re less able to reach their full potential. I see the poor decisions made by many as a symptom of a much larger societal issue. When we address foundational building blocks—like fostering critical thinking and supporting physical health—these negative effects can shift naturally, without the need for force. Our current system keeps people disconnected from an understanding of cause and effect, so they can’t be expected to change overnight or through something imposed, like a draft.
