Voting and Drafting Made More Fair

I was just thinking about an argument I heard against women voting, which was:

If men register to vote, they can be drafted; but if women register to vote, they are not drafted; which means if women vote for a president who gets us into a war, they aren’t the ones who are going to have to fight that war, which is unfair. That means it is not equality, but a special privilege.

And while that is actually a good argument, it actually led me to another idea:

If a president gets us into a war, it’s not just the people who voted in general who should have to be drafted to fight in that war, but the people who voted for that president specifically.

I think if you voted against a president who got us into a war, then if you are eligible for the draft, then you should be moved to the back of the line. And every single one of that president’s voters should be put on the draft list before you.

I think this would incentivize people to vote for presidents more wisely, particularly regarding war. It would silence all the war-hawks, fearing that they could be drafted personally.
