Everyone knows how much money our government wastes. This will kill two birds with one stone. Of course this will apply more to the people with money, however I’m sure we could figure out incentives for middle and lower class citizens that would allow them to lower taxes too. But what I’m proposing is instead of taxing the elite and everyday citizens to death, just to waste the money, why not lower their taxes for how much they put back into the community. The elite through funding the rebuilding, hiring, and logistics for projects in their communities or across the country should receive tax incentives. Middle and lower class individuals could volunteer time at homeless shelters and food banks and so on.
I’m sure there’s things I’m overlooking but it just makes sense to me to let people get incentives to give back to our communities and those in need and the best one is lowering their taxes because we all know most people hate taxes because of how the money is wasted.
