Reallocation of Taxes

Hello All,

I would like to propose an idea of reallocation of taxes. Not to a certain group of people but a restructured format.

Our government allocates billions of taxpayer dollars to foreign aid and spends money frivolously on useless government programs and agencies every year when that money can be used to benefit people in need right in our own communities.

I would like to see a majority of our hard earned tax dollars stay right in our cities. I believe we would benefit on a micro and macro level if the country restructured our government funding in a way that our tax dollars don’t have to go through middleman government agencies simply to come back to our communities anyways.

I would like to see the federal tax lowered and the local tax increased. This will reduce the need of federal jobs and increase the income for our cities as a whole.

I believe this will help cut useless government spending and the creating of unnecessary federal government agencies.

We the people should not have to petition to our own government to retain our hard earned tax dollars. I believe our local municipalities know more about our cities direct needs and we can make a bigger impact in our communities by retaining money where it is generated.

I am tired of paying hundreds of dollars a paycheck in federal taxes while driving on broken down infrastructure and watching our cities fill up with homeless people. We the people can do better for our communities without having to petition to our federal government to explain why we deserve what was already ours.

I do not know what this looks like on a complete financial level but I do believe it would generate local jobs and reduce federal income which would make our government easier to audit and track. I believe local financial businesses would do better with the money in the communities they have a vested interest in.

I am sure there are much smarter individuals on this forum than I, but I do believe a restructuring would have a positive impact for our country on a national and local scale. If we can improve our country on the micro level, we will improve on the macro level.

Thank you all for reading.
