Help small local farmers

I have noticed that the small local farmers have been going out of business in my suburban community.

Additionally, it is hard to get access to healthy foods in urban areas due to poor supply (food deserts) and high costs

One way I think both parties will win is for tax credits to be given to small farmers who sell their fruits/veggies/crops at farmers markets located in zip codes associated with lower average incomes. These new markets should be able to accept assistance vouchers.

The tax credit amount should somehow be commensurate with the amount of revenue obtained from these new markets.

The credit will help the local farmers survive, especially against large supermarkets. The new food supply to economically disadvantaged neighborhoods can help break the cycle of chronic disease.
