Fusion & Nuclear Energy

To Start,
We need to deregulate the creation of new Nuclear Power plants across the country as it is both a reliable and proven source of clean energy. While most of the Nuclear power plants are aging along with the infrastructure of the United States, other foreign powers, with no or limited regulations, are building new planets at a rate we haven’t seen since the 1960s.
By creating energy we need to gain independence across all sectors, Nuclear will be able to provide the clean energy we constantly have been needing to push through the country. This energy has no limit and unfortunately, the planets aren’t built strong enough to keep up with the output.

In the event of an emergency, some start-up companies are creating miniature Nuclear Reactors that can be driven into disaster areas to help with energy needs in the event of a total blackout. These reactors can be temporary solutions to jump-start a city into action and thereby redirect all gas and diesel fuel to the smaller generators for citizens to use. (https://www.sciencenews.org/article/small-modular-nuclear-reactors-amazon) It will free up needed fuel reserves while also providing for the local citizens to keep their city in motion. Particularly, if they are dependent on electricity for their cars or medical care.

Another proposal to this attachment is the investigation and investment into Cold Fusion Energy. (What Is the Future of Fusion Energy? | Scientific American) Which is not only the best source of energy and experimental but has seen success in various studies to become a solution for our Space Travel needs in the future. Granted it is an expensive solution but if successful, we can have two or three power sources for the entire country while maintaining other alternatives of energy as reserves in case of an emergency. Perhaps even sell excess energy to nearby nations of Canada and Mexico thereby powering our neighbors. (https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/19/climate/nuclear-fusion-clean-energy-china-us/index.html)

There are already several policies like this - somebody please merge.

If you aware of those complimentary topics, could you merge them for us?
Thanks

I don’t understand how to merge but here are the entries that seem like duplicates to me:

If someone merges these, please provide the link. I would like to keep up with my policy and the ones that are similar in nature.
