Many Americans are suffering from ailments that have their root in, or are at least partially attibuted to, our vastly underwhelming food supply, and are made no better by a healthcare system that more resembles a sickcare system, which seems to not focus on restoring health, but instead applying pharmaceuticals, which more often than not leads to more prescriptions to curb unintended side effects. All the while, our insurance rates increase faster than our wages, and only cover what the “sickcare” system is pushing. Our current system is only successful at critical care.
I propose that insurance be expanded to cover such things as function-based healthcare (maybe even herbal remedies and chiropractic care). One has only to listen to the testimony of Dana White (link below) as he speaks of the dramatic turn-around he experienced at the direction of Gary Brecka who, along with others like Dr. Mark Hyman and Dr. Blake Livingood, have helped many others achieve actual wellness…which should be the goal of a world-class healthcare system. While I am happy for those who can afford such treatments, insurance companies won’t cover these services that would actually relieve our overburdened system and heal our great country.
Make this sort of care mainstream and mandate that insurance companies cover it.

Very insightful! I 100% agree. What good is insurance if it can’t help us the way we need.
