Explanation & Justification

This is a simple case of getting the cart before the horse. Ending Property Taxes will require ending Direct Taxation. Elimination of Income Taxes also requires ending Direct Taxation. The majority of Citizens do not understand the terms Direct Taxation or Indirect Taxation. This needs more discussion and education focused on the history of Our Failed Tax System. In 1913 Amendment 16 was passed. This Amendment allowed Direct Taxation like Income and Property taxes for the first time. Before 1913 these and all similar Direct Taxes were unconstitutional. I suggest merging these Proposals based on the fact that any change based on any Administrative change would be subject to change by the following Administration. To make taxation changes like ending Property Taxes or Income Taxes permanent we need to Amend Our Constitution, Repealing Amendment 16 thus make it illegal once again for government to apply Direct Taxation.

All Taxes are illegal and unconstitutional there is no law that stays that we have to pay property taxes. The state & federal government have over taxed the American people for way too long now and it needs to stop now. I’m pretty sure people would have no problem paying taxes on brand new goods, such as a new car, a new home etc. Before 1861 there wasn’t taxes on everything we needed. Money we earned was not taxed, neither was property, food, basic goods. We still had schools, military, stores etc. It needs to end now and tax money needs to be returned back to the people.

Please consider reading Amendment 16. Study the language closely.
"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, "
This allows taxing “incomes”

“from whatever source derived,”
Allows government to define what is “incomes” Anything can be defined as income under this language.

"without apportionment among the several States, "
The taxes on “incomes” do not have to be the same State too State.

“and without regard to any census or enumeration.”
The taxes on “incomes” do not have to be equal and they do not have to be based on any “census”

In short Amendment 16 allows government to define anything as income and tax it any way they wish.
This is why any meaningful change in taxation will REQUIRE Repeal of Amendment 16 first. The U.S. Constitution is the foundational Law of the United States. Amendment 16 is the foundation of all tax Law. Repeal of Amendment 16 is the only solution.
