  • held every 3 years., skipping overlap with Presidental elections
  • participants are citizens that pass the citizenship test for new citizens, as well as a few other educational courses (tbd, needs work)
  • No citizen shall have previous state or federal government experience, local experience is ok
  • each CoS shall last 6 weeks. One week preparation, with 3, 1 week sessions creating individual bills for congress. 2 weeks shall be spent revising and discarding previously passed law, breaking up Omnibus laws, to make it understandable and better for the common man.
  • Bills shall be limited to 200 pages max. (Lawyers, is this reasonable?)
  • Single Issue Bills only. NO OMNIBUS
  • independent lawyers to help with creating easy to understand, daily language that is clearly understandable and leaves nothing to interpretation

Having gone to the simulated convention in both Colonial Williamsburg and the recent one in Texas I believe that having some state legislators is required .

ok. i dont know the actual rules, I don’t know where to find em all.

I had no idea your post existed! I tried merging other posts that call for term limits with the COS post, and ask those folks to unite behind Mark Meckler, because COS is actually doing stuff, not just posting ideas.

The point I was making is that state legislators need to be involved for their expertise not that they should be mandated. Making laws and how they are worded is a process that does require some knowledge of the process

Good point.
