Let's Unite Behind Convention of States

It’s good to see that many Americans are on board with making positive change to our Constitution. The problem is that people say they want the change, but haven’t yet got involved. The media won’t admit it, but there is a powerful grassroots movement known as the Convention of States. President Mark Meckler and the ever growing team of volunteers have passed 19 out of the 34 states required to call a convention. The convention is limited to the scope of passing amendments which is term limits, fiscal restraints, and jurisdictional power restrictions on the federal government. To my fellow Americans, while I love the posts about term limits or balanced budget, let’s shift that energy to the COS movement where we’re over halfway there to a historic accomplishment! Sign the petition: COSAction

Link 1: is Mark Meckler’s “@MarkMeckler” post on this site breaking it all down

Link 2: is by the user known as @1776_Not_1984 (couldn’t find name) who has an excellent idea, but the purpose of the merge is for Americans to get behind the already in progress movement to establish term limits and much more!

personal opinion is the current political climate would be extremely dangerous to start a con con. everything is on the chopping block and theres just way too much corruption and brainwashed masses to risk 1a and 2a getting deleted in the process. it’s just as hard to close it as it is to open it.

You should do your homework. The Birch Society, George Soros et.al are out there telling outright lies about Article V Convention of States.

My recommendations to you are to visit Convention of States Project sitesxand listen and read. Read Mark Levins book The Liberty Amendments. We already have 19 states on board. They have adopted and passed resolutions in their legislatures that allow the Convention of States to be called once the 2/3 is reached.

There are many safeguards in the process. You can watch full mock Conventions of States that have played out to see the process. They were attended by people from the Left and the Right.

Some key Amendments are Term Limits, Balanced Budget, Judicial Reform, Repeal of 17th Amendment (sends election/appointment of Senators BACK TO THE STATE LEGISLATURES where they originated and belong)

Take the time to learn more.
