Off shore customer service is another threat to our security. We are now being asked to provide our social security number, date of birth, name, address and other personal identity information to insurance companies, loan companies and a host of other off shore companies. Our personal information is constantly being hacked, stolen and sold through no fault of our own. Also, our Social Security number was created for our retirement benefits, not for the convenience of loan companies and credit scoring systems.
