Mental health is a very important issue that requires attention, and banning free pornography would be a step in the right direction. In many cases, children below 18 are exposed to pornography either through searching for it themselves or being shown by friends. This can lead to addiction later on in life as well as other mental health issues, including trouble with dating or social interaction in general. Banning free pornography would greatly restrict its access to children, and would also discourage adults from watching, since many will not believe it is worth paying for. I am aware there are already parental controls on adult websites, however many parents may not utilize them. Only banning FREE pornography would also allow the industry to operate without secrecy.
