The Cheaper, Better, Kinder Way to Deport 10+ million illegals

Well thought out plan.
This is a very good : “Phase 1”…
Get as many out, as peacefully as possible, and then remove the others.
I think your plan is a great 1st step.

How do you intend to stop repeat offenders? If you try to be nice about it, people will sneak back in to collect another $10,000. I’d be inclined to tattoo or brand anyone that leaves under this program, as barbaric as that may sound.

Would you be open to extending the program to US citizens? There’s plenty of people who would renounce their citizenship for 10k, and they’re probably people that we’d be better off without.

Put in the 10k contract that if you are caught at the boarder or back here again, mandatory 10 years in prison in a Mexican Jail.

Oh, that doesn’t sound cheaper. Instead, enforce e-verify, make it impossible to rent, shop or work. Then, if we want to spend money, we can give rewards of up to $10,000 to citizens who have information leading to the deportation of illegals.

This could also create detrimental consequences. A lot of these people immigrated here from dangerous places run by poverty, corrupt governments, and places where people get robbed and killed for money and other less valuable items.

Sending these people back to where they came from with $10,000 American Dollars is a red flag and a great way to get killed and potentially puts them and their families in great danger.

Also … we have already given them a substantial amount of our tax payers money why give them more to boost their economy when there are Americans here in the United Sates who are suffering and could use that money.

That will cost more, and won’t get to 10 million. You’re not living in political reality. We didn’t elect a monarch with unlimited power. We still have a congress bought by special interests that WANTS cheep labor to drive down all wages, and drive up the cost of housing.

I’m fairly confident President Trump has an idea of how to deport every illegal under budget and ahead of schedule, and with little effective opposition. If I had to bet, he will take a multi pronged approached that includes law enforcement and cutting them off from employment and financial services. To my great disappointment, he’s unlikely to implement an open bounty system. He’s also not going to pay them to leave. If anything, he’ll make their countries pay to take them back.

I trust President Trump already has a plan worked out for how he will accomplish the deportation of these millions of illegals and fulfill his promise. He has 100% of my support. I’ll bet his plan doesn’t include a cash reward for disrespecting and breaking our immigration laws. Now that he’s won the election, I expect many will begin to self deport just as they did the last time.

Yeah - I’m thinking those won’t self deport. Aim is just 10 million of the 30 million.

I would take the bet in a heartbeat that in 4 years, without something like this, that less than 10 million will have been deported.

I actually think this would be a decent program to run for those people whose ONLY crime is crossing the boarder… Y’know those ones that are currently slaving away at construction jobs and just trying to survive. It’s a far kinder opportunity for them than trying to round them up and send them home. They could be put on notice you have X amount of time to take advantage of this program… Then come the squads looking for you.

The CRIMINALS (i.e. the ones who went directly from prison to the US) actually should be rounded up, and I believe Trump will use the military to do that as they can be considered an invading and/or occupying force. Someone guilty of crimes in a foreign nation would not be eligible for any incentives to leave.

Let’s start by using this analogy: think of our nation and its borders like your own house. We lock our doors so that we can decide who we want to welcome into our homes. We lock our doors so that we can protect our families. In ‘locking’ our borders, we are doing the same thing: deciding who comes in. We cannot reward illegal behavior by granting broad amnesty. This would only encourage people to risk their lives to dangerous journeys and criminals.

Deport criminals who’ve crossed the border illegally. Due to their proclivity for violence and complete disregard for human life, this would need to be a military operation.

Offer the voluntary exit to those who’ve been here less than 10 years. Over 10 years, offer a provisional legal alien status with the option to apply for US citizenship after 5 years. Any conviction of a felony would revoke the provisional status and they would be deported immediately.

Illegal alien parents of minor children who are US citizens would be offered provisional status with the option to apply for US citizenship after 5 years. Any conviction of a felony would revoke the provisional status and they would be deported immediately.

This isn’t a slam against legal immigration of individuals who truly are seeking a better life and want to become Americans and have the American Dream. These individuals usually seek to do immigration the right way, legally. So let’s start by looking at those individuals who have applied to become Americans and process their applications first (ie, doing it the right way).

There are 30 million. How in your head is the military identifying those 30 million without violating the 4th amendment for citizens? Think it through.

We were going to pay to force them out. This is reasonable and could work

A policy to pay them to leave. That’s an new and unique idea. I guess if it comes down to that, they would have to weigh getting payed and leaving to return to the life they left behind or staying and getting deported without no money. I’d have to think about this one. Very interesting suggestion tho. Glad you shared it.

You would have to have a way to verify and dissuade those who would take advantage of it. You would have to have a way to prevent a border crossing Olympics just to get 10k after it was done. Also a severe penalty for illegal reentry after the bounty is paid would have to be imposed. A 20k fine and mandatory jail time. Literally you will make license plates for $3 an hour until the 20k is paid off.

No!! Illegals have already soaked the American taxpayer enough. Not another damned dime to these invaders!

In fact, instead of handing them money, all funds need to be stopped immediately. No food stamps, no free healthcare, no free housing… they don’t deserve a damned thing for intentionally invading our country. No other country exhibits the idiocy the US does. Any state that hands a dime to illegals should have all federal funds immediately revoked and not given one dime of federal money until they cease and desist supporting the people who criminally entered our country.

Handing these criminals more money is flat out insane, especially when we have veterans struggling.

and what did Americans do when they were unhappy with their government both in 1776 and 1851. We stayed and fought to change it. These people illegal immigrants are simply running from a problem and they need to stay in their country and solve their problem there.

These people knew they were coming here illegally. That makes them criminals and we do not need to reward criminals, the left has already done that.

What if we were to put a smallish bounty on illegals, say $1000, but allow them to collect the bounty on themselves if they self-deport? If an American citizen drags them to the border kicking and screaming, the citizen gets the $1000 and the alien is never allowed back in. If they self deport, they get the $1000 and the opportunity to re-enter legally.

If it’s a flat 10k to self-deport like OP suggested, they might not take it and it’ll be unnecessarily expensive. If they know that any crackhead sleeping on the street could buy a house after a week of catching aliens, they’ll settle for a lot less, and with greater compliance.
