Term Limits in Congress

We have seen it time and time again. People on both sides of the aisle use their long-standing power and influence to trigger the market and allow for shady business dealings to slip through the cracks and line their pockets. We need to put an end to it. History shows the longer you stay in power, the more the soul dies. Let’s limit congress like we limit the president, and frankly, we probably need to discuss cutting back the pay substantially. Public service in this manner needs to be considered an honor to serve the nation, not something that comes with a big payday. Especially for some who barely show up to vote on certain ticket items, in protest or otherwise. The net worth of a congressperson should not be in the millions unless they were already millionaires.
