Stop banning of pit bulls and breeds alike them

I say we stop trying to ban the wrong end of the leash and let these poor dogs be. Dogs learn aggressive behaviors and if they’re in bad environments with shitty people that starve, beat, neglect and generally abuse them. They’ll eventually learn to stand up for themselves and become aggressive to protect themselves. Please help protect such loving, loyal, protective and caring pitbulls and all other “bully” breeds that people hate so much over hearing misinformation about them.

I just got on here for the first time to create this. Pass it on to all rescues, shelters, animal rights people, animal lovers. I call this BSL, bullshit law!

Ownership of one of these breeds should be licensed and regulated in cities. Rural areas is debatable.

That is not in every state in every county. HOA and private landlords can still have restrictions. Its something that local officials need to end.

ran here to give you my vote!! END breed bans!!

I do not say ban them, but I would say that the PIT and Chihuahua would be considered my county mascot. That being said, it comes down to accountability. If you want the pet, and it harms someone then the owner would face the consequences as if they themselves cause the harm. A woman in my church just lost the back half of her leg and calf to two pit bulls that attacked her while walking on the road. You state it is not the fault of the pet, but the owner. Then the owner should face the consequences as if they brutally mauled this lady. I have seen great pits, but I am very uneasy of them for the time when they snap. I have heard all the excuses by every pit owner. Put your livelihood on the line if they are so precious and sweet. If they attack then go to jail for their crime. So do not ban them, make owner accountable.

Stop home insurance from banning these “dangerous” breeds… along with german shepherds! Two of the most loving and loyal breeds out there and they are banned by most insurance companies!

I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what “ownership should be licensed” means.
