Smith-Mundt Act / FCC

The FCC needs reform to licensing procedures of “Media Networks” that pose themselves as journalists, but are rather opinion/commentary shows operating under the licensing of Media Shows/Journalism.

If Media Corporations want to have opinion/commentary shows- that’s allowed, but there needs to be a clear delineations/accountability when they cross the line.

As evidenced, by the last 10 years in our country- Propagandists are wearing the vale of journalists, when it is not the case (leads to subversion and confusion)

It’s a subversive tactic that has been allowed by the repealing of the Smith-Mundt Act
