(2) The broadcast media play an important role in informing the American people about current events and issues.
(3) The broadcast media have a responsibility to broadcast honestly and earnestly.
(4) Since 2017, NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC have failed to broadcast honestly and earnestly.
(5) This failure to broadcast honestly and earnestly has harmed the American people by misleading them about important issues.
Sec. 3. Revocation of broadcast licenses.
(a) In general.—The Federal Communications Commission shall revoke the broadcast licenses of NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC, CNN, and MSNBC.
(b) Effective date.—The revocation of the broadcast licenses under subsection (a) shall take effect 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
Sec. 4. Authorization of appropriations.
There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act.
