I believe this is a list of systems and programs that need to be revamped. I am only stating the intent, not the means or mode.
Education:
-All Public school children should be given free meals regardless of their family’s economic status.
-Have the meals supplied be created with locally sourced foods (as much as possible), created with the cooperation of nutritionists and chefs to ensure nutritional needs are met while in public care.
-Place ceiling limitations on publicly funded institutions of higher learning and the residential and tuition costs (use the local cost of living to establish and maintain inflation rates).
-Create government-mandated education requirements with full state autonomy on accomplishing them.
Health Care
-Create a ceiling on health care procedures and pharmaceutical costs to reduce insurance costs.
-Find a way for hospitals and medical professionals to reduce liability costs.
Immigration
-Grant asylum and citizenship to long-standing undocumented citizens who have contributed faithfully to our economic system through their labor. (a maximum commitment of 10 years as an otherwise law-abiding citizen?)
-If the undocumented citizen has been paying their dutiful responsibility of income taxes (somehow) and can furnish a 3-5 year IRS proof, they should also be given citizenship (they are already meeting the essential governmental requirement).
*ensure amnesty with zero reprisal for the crime of being undocumented previously
Judicial
-I believe our legal system was created, and its purpose is rehabilitative. Considering this view, if it is rehabilitative, once the individual has been released, they are also (rehabilitated). If they are, then why does a stigma still accompany them? They are not rehabilitated if the stigma is required, and vice versa.
-If a person is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole, then a society of their peers has determined the impact of the crime has deemed them unable to be rehabilitated. If they no longer possess any appeals, their due process has come to a completion, along with their burden on society.
-Federally legalize marijuana; there are more harmful substances in our adulterated food and beverages.
Social Systems
-Establish a prorated maximum dollar amount allowed to be received for overall government assistance per person with increased amounts for x number of children. Then, it allows for job growth without fearing the loss of primary financial stability. (Example: annual entitlement = $35,000. If the recipient makes $30,000, they are still entitled to $5000 the following year (can be reassessed if employment conditions change).
-Develop a nationwide program with the Department of Labor to establish a nationwide employment program. Use regional analytics and projections to determine future and current job requirements and train people for those jobs. (place a 1% debt on their income until the cost is recovered).
Governmental
-Force all government employees to utilize the same government programs available to all military service members (Tricare, Thrift Savings Plan, Life Insurance, etc.). If it isn’t good enough, then they should make it better.
-Create more funding and resources to bolster entrepreneurship to stimulate local economy.
-Ban influential powers of government from third-party investing.
-Any governmental representative should receive the median salary of their constituents for the same reason above.
-Impose a maximum of three-term limits in any single government-voted seat.
-Immediately incorporate statehood for any current U.S. Territory whose citizens vote unanimously to become a state. (Regardless of how their government feels).
Geopolitical
-Tariff every non-close ally with negative trade.
-Boost trade with India
-Continue to support Ukraine and Israel (we finally have countries willing to fight their own battle without the cost of American lives); let’s continue to do for them what France and Prussia did for us.
-Create favorable trading terms that are beneficial to our neighbors but not at an exceeding cost to the U.S.
I have many more ideas. However, I have some other stuff to do. I love the US but hate what it is and has been becoming, and neither side is innocent.
