It used to be the case that State Senates had each county represented equally, like the Congressional Senate does for states. But thanks to an old ruling by the Supreme Court, now State Senates get votes based on population, like the House. Since the Congressional Senate’s equal representation of the states is so important that it is the single aspect of the constitution which CANNOT be amended, I propose either a court challenge or a constitutional amendment to restore the state senates to equal county representation.
