Need to make suppressors for guns available to protect people’s hearing when target shooting or hunting. California bans these essential tools with unsupported evidence they are silencers.
People who shoot are at serious risk of hearing damage especially when rifles are equipped with muzzle brakes to reduce recoil which makes them much louder. The suppressor reduces the noise and provides recoil relief.
Please consider enacting policy that gives all states the right to sell suppressors. Please end the ATF control over the long waiting periods for this non silencer device that will save countless people potentially permanent hearing loss and tinnitus.
